I have 13 years of experience with children of all ages and capabilities. I was a camp counselor, a gymnastics coach, a babysitter, and a nanny for multiple families, have volunteered my time in schools, have worked with special needs children, I’m a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, I am a Certified ISR Swim Instructor, and a Red Cross Certified CPR/FirstAid Instructor. I have owned my own babysitting company for the past 5 years where I match qualified babysitters to local St. Pete families. I have lived in St Petersburg all my life and I absolutely love it! I believe there should be a standard of knowledge that all babysitters have before working with children and that’s why I have created this course.

Lydia started mentoring other babysitters through YouTube in 2020. As Lydia went through different situations and scenarios while working with kids, she realized that she is probably not the only one facing them. She decided to start putting tips and tricks that have helped her tremendously in the childcare realm in videos for others to learn from her mistakes. She has now taken her knowledge and has developed an online course as well as an in-person workshop for local teenagers wanting to better their skills, build confidence, and become better babysitters.
